Terchovská Koliba Diery is a renowned traditional Slovak restaurant and a direct part of Hotel Diery***. Located right at the beginning of the hiking trail, it is the ideal place for a hearty lunch before a hike or a well-deserved reward after returning from the mountains. You can enter directly from the summer terrace or through the hotel reception.

Both the indoor and outdoor areas of the koliba are made cozy by a large open fireplace, which perfectly completes the mountain atmosphere, especially in the winter months.

Our authentic home-style cooking is based on fresh ingredients from local suppliers. On the menu, prepared by chefs from old Terchová families, you will find:

  • Traditional Slovak specialties: Homemade bryndza dumplings (halušky), potato haruľa stuffed with bryndza, homemade bryndza pirohy, and traditional pork feast platters.
  • A modern approach to dining: We cater to everyone. We offer specially adapted gluten-free versions of our most traditional delicacies, as well as excellent vegan meals.
  • Exceptional drinks: Good food calls for a selection of popular Slovak wines and draft lagers and specials from small Slovak craft breweries.

A Space for Families and Social Events

The capacity of the Koliba is 90 guests in two separate non-smoking rooms. During the summer, a sunny outdoor terrace with a capacity of an additional 50 guests is available.

Parking: You can park directly in front of the koliba under the supervision of cameras. The first 90 minutes of parking are completely free.
