Parking at Jánošíkove diery: Safe and Right at the Entrance

Looking for the best place to leave your car before a hike? The monitored and controlled parking lot of Hotel Diery* in the Biely Potok area is the ideal choice. It is located right at the main entrance to the Jánošíkove diery hiking trail. Park safely and head out into nature without unnecessary delays.

Parking Price List and Recommended Routes

Our parking system is tailored to the length of your visit – from a quick coffee to full-day alpine hiking.

  • 90 minutes: FREE (Ideal for guests who want to refresh themselves at Hostinec Besiedka or eat at Terchovská koliba Diery. Just take a ticket at the entrance and scan it at the exit barrier upon leaving within 90 minutes).
  • 3 hours: 5 €(Ideal time for easy hikers and families. You can manage a beautiful walk through Dolné or Nové diery to Podžiar and back).
  • 6 hours: 8 €(This time is enough for a medium-difficulty hike through Horné diery combined with an ascent to Malý Rozsutec).
  • 12 hours: 10 €(Recommended for a full-day strenuous hike, for example, ascending Veľký Rozsutec, with enough time for a meal after the hike).
  • 24 hours: 15 €
  • Hotel Diery accommodated guests: FREE during the entire stay.

How does the parking payment work?

Payment is fast and self-service. Keep your ticket upon arrival and pay for it right at the exit barrier when leaving.

  1. Pull your car up to the terminal at the exit barrier and scan your ticket.
  2. You can pay in cash (both coins and banknotes) or by credit card (by tapping it and pressing the designated button).
  3. The terminal will guide you through the whole process and issue a payment receipt.

Caravan Parking (Stellplatz Jánošíkove diery)

Traveling with a caravan? Right behind the hotel, at the very beginning of the hiking trail, we have built a special parking lot for caravans (stellplatz).

What will caravaners find here?

  • Capacity: 7 dedicated spots.
  • Amenities: Drinking water and electricity hookups, plus free Wi-Fi connection.
  • Facilities: A barbecue area with outdoor seating.
  • (Note: We are also working on a wastewater disposal system).

During the summer season, you will also find a souvenir and fast food stand right next to this parking lot.
